Our Dollhouse

This our doll house! It's the bomb. It used to belong to my mom and my aunt Kim. My aunt was gracious enough to give it to us when I saw it in her yard sale and promptly wigged out. I love finding things at thrift stores or the dumpster, but there is definitely something special about passed down relics.  It is going to have a place of honor at our NEW HOUSE!!! We are moving into my great grandparent's (MEMAW AND PA'S) house. We are beyond excited! Most of our stuff has already been moved into the house, our actual bodies will be there Saturday night after the Flea off in Louisville.  I am pretty excited/overwhelmed at the prospect of starting over in Brandenburg. It's our hometown where we met in fifth grade.
Richmond is also a hometown for me since my dad has lived here my whole life. Which brings me to another point. I will miss my dad!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been borderline insane cry fest about a million times in the last two weeks thinking about it. I have been trying not to think about it truly.  I will get to come back. I will get to come back often. I just have to keep telling myself that.

T-shirt design for the Black Feather Cafe

We are really excited about making a shirt for the Black Feather Cafe in Berea, KY! They are super nice and have always been good to us! Plus, their food is the bomb!
We have been neglecting this sucker. It is not on purpose. We (mostly me?) have misplaced our camera.  Yikes! Hopefully, I will find it soon.  We have been working on secret projects and turning trash into magic.

Skeletor-finished

Isn't he a stud? He is 4ft tall and 2ft wide. We will be taking commissions for 300 dollars per character.  He turned out so good! We just couldn't believe it. The next one up is Pee Wee. Ooh La La!

Skeletor

We were brainstorming and brainstorming trying to come up with something we could make with the supplies we had on hand or things we could get for free.  This is what we ended up with: Skeletor made out of detergent bottles, food trays, black cords from discarded electronics, and lots of staples.  The finished photo will be up soon!
